- Jeff Skrypek is a guitarist and music educator. He began studying jazz under the tutelage of pianist and educator Howard Rees and has adopted jazz great Barry Harris’ method of improvisation into his teachings. With his previous groups, Jeff has released multiple albums, records and recordings in rock and blues.
Dale Scaife has toured for many years across Canada and U.S. with various bands, from country to rock and pop. He has played aboard ships in the Mediterranean and Caribbean and has performed for many musicals including Les Mis, Footloose, Sweeny Todd, Little Women, Anne of Green Gables and Camelot. Currently Dale is playing Toronto clubs, restaurants and functions all in various formats from solo, duo and larger combos, including Big Band.
Vinnie Venkov was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. He entered The Bulgarian State Conservatory and graduated in 1993, majoring in bass guitar. His debut was 1994 with the group "Free Point" and called "The Brazilian Project". He plays three different Bass Instruments: Acoustic Bass (Contrabass), 6-String Fretted and Fretless bass.
John Collin has over 20 years of drumming experience, with a specialization in jazz drumming. He received private training on specialized jazz drumming techniques with notable greats including Jim Blackley, Roger Flock, Rick Gratton, Don Vickery and Paul Delong. A graduate of Humber Jazz, John has played nationally and internationally with a wide variety of big bands and orchestras. His music has been featured on Jazz 91.1, as well as on television and movies.
